Our Story, Your Future
2017 -
California Cosmetology Academy began with a passion for delivering top-of-the-line education to future beauty professionals. As a locally owned and operated school, we take pride in offering a supportive, community-focused environment where students can thrive.
We currently provide two accredited programs by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, each designed to prepare students for successful careers in the beauty industry.
> 1600-Hour Cosmetology Program
> 600-Hour Esthetician Program
2018 -
We enrolled our first group of students in both Cosmetology and Esthetics programs. Officially opening the doors for future beauty professionals to begin their journey with us.
2019 -
We proudly celebrated our very first graduating class. A major milestone that marked the beginning of helping students turn their passion for beauty into a career.
2020 -
In the midst of the pandemic, CCA adapted by transitioning to online learning. While it was a challenge, it proved to be incredibly rewarding as we continued supporting students and helping them move one step closer to their new careers.
2021 -
We welcomed our industry partnership with Dermalogica, giving our esthetician graduates the opportunity to complete their program with professional Dermalogica certifications in hand.
2022 - 2023
Our academy placed a strong focus on guest educators, creative competitions, and all inclusive learning experiences. These years were dedicated to expanding opportunities for our students to grow, express creativity, and gain well rounded training.
2024 -
Our academy proudly announced an exciting switch to R+Co Hair, giving our students the opportunity to learn and create with one of the top professional hair brands in the industry.
2025 -
We introduced our online booking system with GlossGenius, creating more opportunities for students to enhance their hands-on training. With instructors guiding them through real client experiences, our students not only build confidence and technical skills, but also learn professionalism in working with clients and begin growing their own clientele, preparing them to enter the beauty industry career-ready.
